The post holder will recruit and support volunteers that will be delivering a community focus programme which will support people over the age of 18 in the community who are experiencing social isolation or mental ill health. Recruitment, training, and supervising volunteers will be key aspects of this role and therefore a genuine interest in making a difference and improving people’s outcomes in their lives is essential.

Key tasks

  • Recruit a minimum of 10 volunteers using a variety of different channels to deliver the community focus programme
  • To work with partner organisations to deliver the Community Focus Programme and sign service users up to the Electricity North West
  • Priority Services Register in line with the project outputs
  • Meet with service users and put together support plans for the programme intervention
  • Provide supervision and training staff for all volunteers
  • To support the Volunteer Manager to implement, monitor and evaluate service delivery against, national quality, performance mark standards, and good practice.
