Often, when military personnel are discharged from the armed forces, they can find it hard to access the services and support they need to begin and maintain a new life in the community. They may face a complex mixture of health, housing, financial, family or social problems and may need specialist support from an Advocacy service which understands the distinct needs of veterans and military personnel.

How can Advocacy help?

Specially trained Advocates can help improve quality of life by providing essential support to veterans and military personnel when they need it most.

For Veterans who may be finding it hard to find the services and support they need, or for family members of struggling Veterans who may need a little extra support, Independent Advocates can help.

Our Veterans' advocacy service is currently very limited and only available via a small number of local contracts.  It is an area of advocacy that we are keen to develop so we can achieve our mission of ‘Advocacy for All’.  If you can help support us to achieve this and provide a service for people when they face their most challenging times, then please donate here.
