We are looking for an Apprentice Independent Advocate / Advocacy Co-ordinator to support our provision of Advocacy services. Working initially from our Accrington Head Office, you will learn to support people of all ages with Advocacy, including those with learning disabilities, people with mental health needs, people with physical and sensory impairment, older people and people that lack capacity. You will study and shadow trained Advocates to understand all aspects of Independent Advocacy support. Once successfully completed, this apprenticeship will lead to a Trainee Independent Advocate post. It is also worth noting that Apprentices have the same opportunities as the rest of the team for training and development at Advocacy Focus and we nurture an Apprentice’s emotional well-being as part of our company wide Health and Well-being policy.
