Today is Giving Tuesday; a global movement that aims to remind everybody about the valuable impact charities have and the work we do in our local communities. It is also a day to inspire giving, and we're here to remind you that there are lots of different ways you can give to charity, that doesn't necessarily mean you're out of pocket.

December is one of the most popular months for charity donations; in fact, the period between Christmas and New Year is the busiest period of the year for charity giving. More money is donated during this time, that at any other time throughout the previous 51 weeks.

Whilst many of us are spent up over Christmas and can find it a financial struggle, a lot of us also think of those less fortunate than us. As we feel the happiness the holiday season brings; sometimes it's a stark reminder that there are those who are struggling.

If you wish to give to Advocacy Focus this Giving Tuesday, we have provided a few examples below of all the ways you can donate to us that won't cost you an arm and a leg. There are lots of valuable ways you can give back to your community using just your time and skills!

All the money we raise and all the help you give to us goes towards helping the groups we have identified as needing more support in our community including; veterans, children, isolated and lonely people, those suffering from mental ill health and of course continuing our delivery of high quality and trusted advocacy services in Lancashire, Trafford, Bradford and Rochdale.
